Got one of these this morning, very confusing as I live in Canada! How do they get email addresses?

This scam is still active; received it this AM (4/24/2012). Deleted it as US Airways is not my preferred airline and had made no reservations with them.

If you clicked on any links in the email you should scan for viruses and other threats. If you don't have an antivirus program, download Avast's free Antivirus software.

I receive this email 0n 28th of March, but the date departure is 20th of March. And the funny part is, I'm not from DC! I'm from other country that need about 1 day to travel to DC!

I've received five of these from "US Airways" since yesterday, but since I'm not traveling until the end of this month (and not with US Airways or United), I've simply deleted them without opening and will continue to do so. It was confusing to receive them, though, at first.

I just got one of these emails. It had no attachment but I clicked on the Online Reservation Details link on the email and Avast immediately detected a trojan - something like Redirector? I've deleted the email - do I need to do anything else, anyone?

I just got an e mail from "US air ways" for confirmation Washington DC I deleted the first one, but just keep getting them. How do I stop these e mails and get off this list - I have no such ticket and have not contacted this airline, never even heard of this air line. How did they get my e mail address!

Well maybe they got into the US airways mileage rewards then that has all sorts of security pre flight info - hopefully it will be taken care of. Now had the ticket been to Maui that could of been more interesting !

I just received the exact same e-mail. I called US airways and the rep immediately said, "You received an e-mail? Delete it!" Apparently, customer service is overwhelmed with calls from confused e-mail recipients right now. I was worried it might be related to the recent hacking of major credit card companies, but my cc company said there are no recent plane ticket charges on my account.

I got the scam as well. Leaving DCA (Washington Reagan National Airport) on April 5.

I got the "confirm your reservation" one, a flight leaving DC on April 6 this morning. Followed by another confirming a separate reservation for the same flight on April 5.
