What does a person in Kampala Uganda have to with the IRS returns in the US? This is one hell of a bad fisherman.

I received this today June 22, 2011 they almost got me as well as I've been waiting for my tax return. It was mailed never received. I wondered when I seen this email perhaps something was discovered. Then realized this seems odd! Virus detected flagged me as well. searched google found this site! I felt somethings off I knew it!

They almost caught me here. Especially since I recently discovered that our accountant failed to submit our 2009 taxes to either feds or state. I JUST mailed the replacements the other day, and today I get this piece of crap. Thank goodness I had the presence of mind to check it out before opening the attachments.

These scammers are dopes.

Bad grammar is always a red flag:

"Our records indicate that the person identifiedas the primary taxpayer or spouse on the tax return 'did not provided' .."

I have received one of these scams. I receive such from different "sources" like Western Union, Nokia, UPS, and now this. I delete all such messages, and especially when they contain eclosed files like zip.-files.
